We understand that selling your watch can be a difficult process and that you might have questions.
Question 1: What watches do you buy?
We buy (and sell!) all luxury timepieces. While we can of course buy your Rolex, AP or Patek, we particularly love buying watches from storied brands such as Cartier, Grand Seiko IWC, JLC, Breitling, Panerai and Omega.
Question 2: How much is my watch worth?
Luxury watches have well developed secondary markets, so we can offer prices reflective of market conditions. If you are curious about specific valuations for watches you own - reach out! We are always happy to discuss.
Question 3: Can you sell my watch for me?
Yes! We often work on consignment for clients. After taking pictures of the watch, we utilise our network of clients to sell your watch for a fee.
Question 4: How long does it typically take to receive payment?
JOWCO Time operates out of both Sydney and Melbourne. For clients in those cities, we can pay you the day we see and receive the watch. For clients outside of these cities, we transfer funds after we verify authenticity.
Question 5: Do you work with vintage watches?
We don't work with vintage watches given the specialised nature of that market. .
Question 6: I don't have the original box and papers - is that a problem?
We authenticate every watch we have for sale, so it is not a problem. Watches without the original box and original papers do trade at a substantial discount to full sets, however.
